It’s a privilege to highlight the real value of occupational therapy within a business and innovation audience. OT has so much to offer—creatively, socially, and economically—and I’m proud to champion that message as part of Converge

We’re excited to share that our Founder & Lead Occupational Therapist, Callum MacKinnon, has been featured in the new Converge Challenge 2026 video and photo campaign—now live across Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.

In the promotional video, Callum reflects on his early journey of setting up BounceOT while in his final year at Glasgow Caledonian University, and his experience taking part in the Converge Challenge back in 2017.

At the time, BounceOT was just an idea rooted in his personal experience as a carer and his belief that inclusive, meaningful play should be accessible to all. Through Converge, that idea grew wings.

Callum went on to be named Runner-Up in the Social Enterprise category, receiving seed funding and specialist support that helped BounceOT grow into the award‑winning social enterprise it is today.

Now, almost a decade later, he returns as part of the Converge alumni community, helping launch the 2026 campaign and encouraging new innovators from across Scotland’s universities to apply.
