In 2022, BounceOT Stirling CIC proudly won a Scottish Edge award along with a £10,000 prize, in recognition of our innovative and ambitious plans to expand through a social replication model. Building on this success, we are now extending our operations beyond Stirling, with plans to grow our network across Scotland and the wider UK.
With increasing demand for our support services from parent carers and professionals who work with individuals with additional needs, we are confident in our ability to make a significant impact on families throughout the UK.
Occupational Therapy & Rebound Therapy
Occupational Therapy (OT) is a science-based, health and social care profession regulated by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
In OT, ‘occupation’ refers to any activity we need, want or enjoy doing to maintain our physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing. From birth, we engage in occupations, either individually or with others.
OT empowers individuals to live their best lives, even when faced with limitations. We provide varying levels of support, tailored to each person’s needs and preferences, helping them overcome challenges and engage in meaningful activities; whether it’s participating in school, working, playing sports, or simply doing daily tasks like washing the dishes. While our scope is broad, everything we do revolves around enhancing an individual’s well-being, enabling them to fully participate in and enjoy life.
At BounceOT, our primary therapeutic intervention is ‘rebound therapy’, utilising trampolines and other play equipment to support our clients’ therapeutic needs and goals.
Trampoline Play (or Rebound Therapy) encourages participation and improved well-being through play.
