Do I need to be a qualified OT to become a franchisee?
No, the universal and targeted services we offer can be delivered by anyone. However, we do recommend you and the staff you employ have a minimum of 1 year of experience supporting children and adults with disabilities.
You will be given all necessary training to deliver effective therapeutic services.
If you do have an OT registration in the UK, you can deliver - and charge for - some of the Specialist services yourself locally.
If I’m not an OT, can I still call my franchise BounceOT?
Yes, as above, you will simply sell Universal and Targeted services to customers.
If you would like to offer Specialist services, that require to be delivered by an OT, you can source your own independent OT locally to deliver services - or you can subcontract an OT at BounceOT HQ (subject to capacity).
Will you help me recruit local staff?
Yes. We will provide you with help and support to ensure you recruit your staff to ensure they can help you deliver a high-quality service.
Do I need to be physically fit?
The activities facilitated by BounceOT are not a ‘sport’ or ‘gymnastics’ - our focus is on therapeutic play and inclusive opportunities for movement.
However, as your customer base becomes more diverse, if you are not physically fit then we recommend you employ at least one staff member who is. This is to be able to support as many children and adults with a wide range of disabilities (E.g. mobile and active individuals with Autism & ADHD, and wheelchair users with profound and multiple learning disabilities).
Will you assist with the BounceOT digital setup?
Yes, we will. We’ll ensure that you are fully set up on our CRM system from day one. In addition to this, we will also set you up on our website system (along with business emails) so that customers can see you and this will allow you to start building your local customer base.
What training will I receive?
All our franchisees get access to our franchise training programme.
This includes a franchise induction training programme that gives you an insight into every aspect of the business.
