Meet our newest part time Play Leader - Ryan! (Pictured above with Eliza).
Ryan was one of the very first young people to attend rebound therapy sessions with Callum (Founder & OT Lead) back in 2016 when Callum first tested running sessions in Stirling, before moving into a larger unit and registering the company as a social enterprise in 2017.
Today, Ryan is now a popular member of the team with both staff and the individuals/ families he works with.
Callum commented:
It feels great to have Ryan working as part of the Therapeutic Play Leader team. We put out a post online to let people know we were looking for part-time/ flexible hours to be filled, and Ryan got in touch! It feels like a full circle moment - he used to come along and enjoy activity sessions on the trampoline when he was younger, so to have him now lead similar sessions is fantastic to see. I’m only 30 but god, I feel old looking back at the pictures of us in sessions!
Ryan started working flexible hours in the team back in 2023 and currently works different days across our main therapeutic play room in Stirling, some days in New Struan School, and on a Friday afternoon to deliver sessions with PAMIS.
Ryan commented:
