Launch Me - a Firstport Scotland initiative
Being accepted into the LaunchMe programme is an exciting and humbling milestone in my journey as a social entrepreneur. When I first applied, I was motivated by a clear vision of scaling the impact of my work. Now that I’ve been selected, I’m filled with a sense of purpose and anticipation about the opportunities and growth that lie ahead.
LaunchMe offers a bespoke and intensive support programme, designed to help businesses like mine prepare for investment and scale their impact. For me, this opportunity is more than just a chance to access funding; it's a transformative learning experience that will help me refine my business processes, identify the right investment options, and connect with a network of like-minded entrepreneurs. The knowledge and expertise that will be at my disposal through workshops, one-on-one sessions with professionals, and the support of a dedicated team are invaluable. The opportunity to learn from experts in areas ranging from social impact to market research, while also collaborating with peers who share similar ambitions, is something I’m especially excited about.
Being part of this cohort is not only about business growth; it’s about social growth. LaunchMe Spring 2025 Kick-Off & Social Event
To mark the start of this exciting programme, I am thrilled to attend the LaunchMe Spring 2025 Kick-Off & Social Event. This event is an incredible opportunity to meet my fellow cohort members, connect with the LaunchMe team, and gain a deeper understanding of the programme structure and what lies ahead.
The event will take place on Tuesday, 26th March 2025, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM in Edinburgh. It promises to be an engaging day, with light lunch provided, allowing plenty of time for networking with both peers and industry professionals. I’m particularly excited to meet others who are equally passionate about scaling their social impact and to learn more about how we can collaborate, share experiences, and grow together throughout the programme.
This event marks a significant first step in my LaunchMe journey, and I’m looking forward to gaining valuable insights and building relationships that will support me as I work toward achieving my goals.
