Could you help bOunceT by joining our Board of Directors?

The need to prioritise building a strong senior management team to govern the organisation, support our operational and leadership teams – and developing bOunceT into a sustainable, yet impactful, organisation is becoming increasingly important during these challenging times.

The creation of new vacancies on our Board of Directors will be an opportunity for experienced leaders from various fields to support the development of bOunceT as we move into a ‘new normal’.

Immediate skills required:

Fundraising (including grant writing skills)

Business Development (including business planning & strategy)

Legal

Social Media / Marketing / Communications

Occupational Therapy & other Allied Health Professionals

Higher Education - experiences in Education and Research

Non-Executive Directors give their time as volunteers. They meet up to 7 times a year (currently online via MS Teams due to COVID). Often this will be meeting 4 times per year as a group, then up to 3 times 1:1 with Founder & Executive Director, if additional support is required.

The Board often requires specialist advice in areas such as Finance, HR, Legal & Business Development/ Strategy. The Board would be delighted to welcome new Non-Executive Directors with these professional skills. More specifically, currently the Board are currently looking for new members with skills and experience in business development, fundraising, social media and marketing. This list is not exhaustive.

If you have specific skills in social media/marketing/communications you will have the opportunity to support our Leadership Team to support a new graduate from February 2021 who will participate in a full-time 12 week internship (joint funded with Glasgow Caledonian University).

Don't want to join our Board, but still want to help??

There are other ways you can support us, without taking on 'as much responsibility'. To find out more about each post, read here:
