From September 2022, all staff employed at bOunceT will automatically be enrolled into a Level 1 healthcare plan with Westfield Health.
The employee benefit was originally promoted through the Forth Valley Chamber of Commerce - as part of a membership benefit to all businesses in Forth Valley area.
The Leadership Team have rolled out the health plan to all staff in the organisation - regardless of their role or number of hours per week.
Callum (Executive Director) commented:
We wanted to make sure we are providing the best support to our staff as possible. The benefits that staff can claim on this new insurance are great, from exclusive access to Westfield Rewards & - to cash back on Dental, Optical and Therapy Treatments. We have staff working as little as 2 hours per week, to full time, enrolled on Level 1 of this plan.
All staff enrolled are able to add on partners and their children to their personal plan too for a small upgrade fee

As a business, we need to remain competitive in what we offer our staff. It’s no longer enough to pay a good wage - people want, and need, more. I am happy to see Callum’s commitment to supporting all staff, whilst ensuring bOunceT is an attractive employer. This will hopefully mean we can retain our staff for as long as possible - and hire fantastic new people as our team grows!’
It is hoped that bOunceT can begin to offer upgrades to other levels (of insurance) as further incentives or rewards are decided. For example, as staff hit certain achievements or as work anniversaries occur.
To make things as easy as possible, Westfield Health have an online log in (on their website) and an app - My Westfield - that allows people to access their information about rewards and benefits, and make claims 24/7!
