Children & Adults

A unique activity–based service

Approved supplier to Stirling Council’s Social Inclusion Framework, in partnership with their Children with Disabilities Social Work Team

BounceOT is a unique service that combines sensory play with physical activity to provide a highly effective therapeutic experience.

Parents and carers consistently note the profound positive impact our services have on their loved ones' well-being, often sharing that their own mental health also improves as a direct result of engaging with BounceOT.

Bounce OT Stirling CIC was founded by Callum MacKinnon (Specialist Occupational Therapist) in 2017.

Our mission is to create a fun, inclusive, and safe environment where children and adults with disabilities can engage in purposeful play with their families, fostering meaningful moments together.

Our skilled and compassionate staff offer specialist support to individuals striving to achieve personalised therapeutic goals, while also providing parents with opportunities for brief respite.

We are dedicated to inclusivity, welcoming individuals of all abilities, whether they have a diagnosed disability or are already accessing other local disability support services.

All BounceOT staff are trained under the principles of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT) Play Guidelines, published in 2023.

This is the foundation for all our work - it ensures staff at all levels of BounceOT follow an evidence-based use of play in assessment and intervention, and to evaluate play participation as a meaningful goal or outcome for the child or adult accessing our services.

Encouraging participation in fun activities for the whole family

You don't need to go out of your way to play

You don't need expensive sensory play equipment, you just need to be creative with what you already have!

Have you had your 1 hour of play today?

It's better to do a lot of little 5-10 minute activities, instead of a 1 hour block!
